I’m Cara.
As a kid, I had a debilitating stutter. Only through the gentle guidance of my teachers and parents was I ever able to work through and come to terms with this lifelong obstacle.
Their patience and support inspired me to work with and help children with their own challenges in my adult life. This translated into working as an art teacher and private nanny for a while.
One day a parent gave me a copy of “Oh Crap! Potty Training” and thus an unusual knack for teaching toddlers to pee was discovered, and Kiddish was born.
Since then I have committed hundreds of hours to learning and completing coursework in early childhood development, Montessori Education, and psychology.
In my free time I enjoy long hikes, painting, and plucking on my banjo.
Cara knows that Potty Training doesn’t happen in a vacuum. She pulls inspiration from Montessori and mindful parenting techniques to create a holistic and integrative potty training approach.
Cara has completed coursework in Montessori Teacher Training, Child Development, and Education.
